You are in the warm water room. This small room has a central rectangular space, with galleries to its right and left, made by arches resting on columns. At the bottom of each of the right and left galleries there are two small rooms. To the front, there are two(not very tall) fixed information screens. You will be able to see, below ground surface, the remains of the oven and boiler.
This is the end of the Caliphal Alcazar Bath route. If you would like to continue, go on to the reception hall going through the luke warm water room, cold water room and the dressing room.
This room has a quadrangular layout also. There are additional small rooms which house two basins located at both sides of the boiler. The left basin contained a bath and the right one had a strong water supply which acted as a shower. The whole room is covered with a vault and decorated with geometrical designs. The flooring and skirting board were made of white marble. Underground the heat flowed from the oven to the air shafts behind the walls through different galleries. The rooms preserve ceramic pipes which supplied the warm water.
